Operations, writing, and current work

I’m an operations leader and software builder focused on practical logistics systems.

I’ve spent most of my working life in warehousing and transportation, and I’m now using that experience to build better tools, improve workflows, and find practical ways to support the people doing the work.

AI Helped Me Write the Rules. I Broke Them Anyway.

A reflection on using AI to create a structured development process—and then ignoring parts of that process when the pressure to keep building took over.

Background

My background is in hands-on logistics and transportation operations, from frontline warehouse work to planning, supervision, project management, and multi-site operational leadership.

That experience shapes how I approach software: start with the real process, understand who makes the decision, identify what information they can trust, and only then decide what technology would help.

I’m most interested in software that makes operational work clearer without creating a second system that people must constantly maintain.
